Hospitals and critical access hospitals can choose the number of touchpoints that work best for them:
Virtual touchpoints between full survey cycles:
- One, two, or three four-hour virtual touchpoints per full survey cycle
- Each virtual touchpoint will include discussion of the corrective action and sustainment plans AND/OR focused topics based on standards chosen by the hospital
- Standards and survey experts and hospital leaders will discuss performance strengths, leading practices and resources
On-site touchpoint between full survey cycles:
- One eight-hour on-site touchpoint per full survey cycle (with a virtual prep call)
- The on-site touchpoint will include discussion of the corrective action and sustainment plans AND/OR focused topics based on standards chosen by the hospital
- Standards and survey experts and hospital leaders will discuss performance strengths, leading practices and resources
